Muslims & Christians on the Emmaus Road, J Dudley Woodberry

Two Middle Eastern men walkinghopelessl along the road, talking about a crucifixion which seemed to contradict the justice and sovereignty of God himself. The evironment, their facial features, and even their clothing are remarkably similar to those of many Muslim people in current times. They have turned their backs on Jerusalem. They see Jesus as a Prophet mighty in deed and word but cannot reconcile his messiaship with his execution as a common criminal.
